 17.25 hours per week, term-time only to be a teaching assistant for a fixed term initially.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to support our young pupils in the EYFS, and to support the class teacher and the school, in order to raise standards of achievement, encourage pupils to become independent learners, to ensure their safety and welfare and support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life. 

In addition, you will be required to take part in play activities and other aspects of school life.

You will have:

A Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent, or experience of delivering English and Maths interventions and supporting small group work; good understanding of Literacy, Numeracy and ICT; GCSE English and Maths C or equivalent; a calm and flexible approach; good understanding of school policies and procedures relating to health & safety, behaviour, attendance, equal opportunities and child protection.
