Advert

Frittenden CEP School is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible child support assistant to join our professional, dedicated and friendly team within our village school setting. You will be working alongside the class teacher, assistanting one of our delightful pupils. Whilst experience is preferential, it not a prerequisite: you just have to have a can-do attitude. The successful applicant will hopefully have an understanding of children with social communication difficulties.

  • We are particularly looking for someone who:
  • Will support and scaffold children's learning in and out of the classroom
  • Has the ability to make good relationships with children, colleagues and parents
  • Is confident to work independently using their own initiative
  • Enjoys working as part of a team

The post is for a temporary contract, which lasts for the duration of the child being in the school and funding being in place. It is for 25 hours a week and is term time only.  An immediate start would be preferential; however this can be negotiated for the right candidate.

Frittenden is committed to continued professional development and full training will be provided as part of our performance management process. Visit to the school are encouraged. For further details please call the school secretary Mrs Donna Kneller on 01580 852250.
