Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead 

Term time only (39 weeks including Academy Days) + 10 days   

37 hours per week 

Salary: Currently £24,001 to £25,266 fte depending on experience  

(£21,449 to £22,580 pro rata) 

Fixed Term (18 months in the first instance) 

We are seeking to recruit a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our experienced DSLs and Wellbeing Team. The main purpose of this role is to support the DSLs in leading safeguarding and child protection provision across the school.   

The successful applicant will have an excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.  They will have excellent interpersonal skills as they will be required to work directly with students as well as liaising with teachers, support staff and external agencies.  There is no teaching commitment associated with this role.
