Advert

This role is advertised on behalf of Kent & Medway Maths Hub.

Are you a conscientious and hard-working individual? Do you work with a high level of professionalism in everything that you do? Are you keen to join a highly successful and inspirational company?

Due to our expansion, the Kent and Medway Maths Hub, part of Leigh Academies Trust,  has a truly exciting opportunity to appoint an Administrator (Apprenticeship) to work at our Central Office, based in Rochester, who will join us as soon as possible. As one of the National Maths Hubs, we oversee a huge menu of training in mathematics teaching across the whole of the Kent and Medway regions.

As Administrator, you will work with our Maths Hub Coordinator and Data Administrator to ensure that the hundreds of teachers training with us every year are able to access the highest quality programmes.  You’ll be arranging training sessions, ensuring delegates and facilitators have all they need and making sure that all our work meets the needs of our participants and their schools. Applicants should be professional, personable and committed to providing excellent service, and above all else, our appointed candidate will have a positive work ethic and can-do attitude. If you're as excited by this opportunity as we are, we'd love to hear from you!

The Administrator position is pivotal to the smooth running of our central office and our appointed candidate will embark on an Apprenticeship course, gaining a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification during their time in the post.

Information about the trust

Leigh Academies Trust is one of the country’s largest and most-established multi-academy trusts operating across Kent, Medway and South East London. It contains primary, secondary and special academies and is highly inclusive and successful. Our mission is to deliver “education for a better world” by ensuring that young people in our academies have an excellent start in life regardless of their background or ability.

The Trust exists to support and assist schools to build upon their existing strengths and to help them achieve rapid educational transformation. It has significant experience in running schools, and today includes both sponsored academies and schools which have chosen to convert to Academy status.

In addition to providing high-quality educational opportunities for all of our children, aged from 2 months to 19 years, and their families, we are proud to provide many opportunities for lifelong learning. These are delivered through the organisations under our umbrella: Thames Gateway Teaching School Hub, LAT Apprenticeships and Kent and Medway Training (KMT), which delivers routes into teaching.

We warmly welcome you to Leigh Academies Trust and look forward to sharing with you our passion for transforming lives and shaping communities through great education.
