We are looking for someone to work with one of wonderful children on a one to one basis, working with energy and enthusiasm whilst being part of the class team. Excellent communication skills and high expectations are all vital attributes, as well as having a belief and determination that you can make a difference to improving life chances for all our children.

The post is a fixed term position of 13.00 hours per week (2 days), term time only plus staff development days.  This contract will be reviewed on a termly basis due to the post being funding dependent. The post does involve lunchtime duties. This role is to start week commencing the 31^st October 2022.

Information about the school

Stella Maris is a happy, family school that was judged to be ‘Good’ in every category by Ofsted in June 2023 and achieved 'Outstanding' in our RE Inspection in March 2023. We are a one-form entry Catholic Primary School, serving children from all over the Folkestone and Cheriton area.

We are an Academy and part of the Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership. This allows us to work closely with other schools, sharing and learning from each other to continuously improve outcomes for all our staff and children.

We offer an exciting, stimulating curriculum and staff enjoy some outstanding CPD opportunities. We are lucky enough to be set in beautiful surroundings with lots of outside space with a woodland trail and fire pit area.
