Newingate School is due to open in January 2023, we are looking to employ a Speech and Language Therapist to work with us on either a full/part-time basis.  Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm.

We are looking for an innovative, experienced and approachable SaLT specialist who is looking for a unique post in an aspirational independent special school. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the SaLT provision in the school. You will be a self-directed worker joining an emerging but experienced team of education professionals. You will deliver, monitor and report on the SaLT provision for individuals and groups of students and ensure that you take the lead in identifying any support or training requirements to support the highest standard of SaLT delivery by other staff. 

We would ideally like someone with experience working in a school setting or with young people, but will consider recently qualified therapists if you have other relevant experience.

Newingate School is a specialist independent school for children with Autism and associated Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs. All students have an EHCP and are referred to the school by their local authority. The school is registered for 11-18 year olds and provides a personalised curriculum to meet each individuals needs via small class and sometimes 1:1 learning support.
