Information about the federation

The 10:10 Primary Federation has been formed through the collaboration of Goudhurst and Kilndown and Benenden CE Primary Schools, both situated in small picturesque villages in the Weald of Kent.

Goudhurst & Kilndown Primary School which was graded Outstanding at our last Ofsted and SIAMS inspections; Benenden Primary was graded good in both their respective inspections.

The catchment areas are mixed, with children from a wide variety of backgrounds. Both our schools are very well equipped and our facilities are excellent.

We place high value on developing the ‘whole child’. Academically, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum, rich with outdoor learning opportunities; we have established Forest Schools in both schools which all children experience.

Children's wellbeing and mental health is of an equal high priority; the learning and pastoral support from within and outside of the schools fully support this.
