We are looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic TA who is child centred, to support a Year 5 pupil who has cognition and learning needs. The pupil has high needs funding and is supported both within the classroom setting, and separetly to the rest of the class when appropiate.

Relevant experience of supporting children in a school setting is essential. 

The successful applicant will be employed, for 15 hours per week over the five school days.  This is currently arranged as:

09:15 – 12:30 with a 15 minute break.

They will be paid on Kent Range 3 (£18,425 pro rata).  Appointment will be from as soon as possible. 

Sandling Primary is a two form entry school with 420 pupils on roll, and received 'good' in the last OFSTED inspection (Feb 2020).

We have designed a creative curriculum, which is regularly refreshed to reflect current topics and interests of the children.

With easy access from the M20, and being situated less than 3 miles from Maidstone centre, the school is easily accessible by road.
