The Galaxy Trust is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and efficient Finance Assistant to join our central finance team. This is a fixed term appointment until Easter 2023 initially, with the prospect of leading to a permanent role. The role is for 25 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. You will be required to work Monday to Friday and actual working hours are 9.30am to 3.00pm but can be flexible for the suitable candidate. The salary is Kent Range 4, £19,389 - £20,493 full time equivalent, actual pro-rata salary £13,101 - £13,847.

Your main duties will involve the day-to-day finance tasks for the schools within our Trust, ensuring all systems are up to date and reporting is timely and in line with our financial returns.
