About the role: Ebbsfleet Academy are looking for an experienced and reliable Attendance Manager to join their vibrant and dedicated community as soon as possible. Our appointed candidate will join Ebbsfleet Academy, receiving fantastic training and development opportunities from the off-set with scope to positively influence our students’ learning. 

The purpose of the Attendance Manager is as follows:

  • To monitor the day-to-day attendance and work proactively to reduce persistent absence and maintain high standards of attendance.  
  • Work proactively with agencies, parents and carers to maintain excellent attendance within the school to enable students to learn effectively.
  • To work with families, accessing resources as well as support from outside agencies, to help increase their involvement in the education and welfare of their children.
  • To work with pupils experiencing difficulties (social, health, emotional or behavioural) or at risk of exclusion/disaffection so that they are able to participate fully in school and home life and work towards achieving their full potential.

This is a permanent role offering an actual salary of £20,108 - £22,764 per annum (£23,378 - £26,466 full time equivalent) commensurate with experience, based on 37 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week of inset. The working hours are Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.00pm with an early finish of 3.30pm on Fridays. ​​​​​​​
