We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive teaching assistant from October to support a variety of needs across the school. The successful candidate will have a flexible attitude and be willing to move in and out of classes supporting different needs as they arise.

The role would primarily involve supporting individual children on a 1:1 basis. However, the successful candidate will also work with other groups within the class, and will need to be able to work across the age range from Early Years to Year 6 when required.

The successful candidate will join a strong, supportive team, and will receive appropriate training and development opportunities.

Full time position - 28.75 hours per week, which includes break and lunch duties.

The role is linked to funding for pupils with additional needs, and it is anticipated that the job will be in place for as long as this funding is in place, for example as long as the pupil remains in the school.

Because of the need to effectively support a range of children in the school, it is important that applicants are qualified to GCSE at grade C (or equivalent) or above in Maths and English.

The governors and staff of Capel-le-Ferne Primary School are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people entrusted in our care. All posts will be subject to references and a full DBS check.
