Sixth Form Welfare Officer – Maternity Cover

Start Date: 31st October 2022

Pay Scale: KR 8 £23,930 pro-rata (£26,887 FTE)

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week; 40 weeks per year (term time + 2 weeks)

The Bennett student welfare team play a central part in underpinning the educational experience of students at Bennett.  The welfare team work closely together to provide the vital support structure which enables the outstanding progress made by our students in their time at the school. This is achieved through systematic monitoring of students and interventions to address difficulties as they arise. In this Christian school, which is committed to the flourishing of each individual child, our welfare team are pivotal in providing the pastoral care which is so important to the development of young people. The role of the student welfare manager is core to the implementation of this approach.

Situated in Tunbridge Wells with excellent transport links to London, Bennett is a popular and over-subscribed academy with an enviable record of outstanding academic achievement over many years.
