Do you have a can-do attitude?  Are you passionate about improving the life chances and outcomes of children?

Belle Vue school in Cranbrook is a calm and orderly school for pupils aged 9 - 19.  Our ethos is to improve the outcomes for children irrespective of the obstacles faced. We work with rigour, pace and passion to ensure our pupils achieve the best possible outcomes. In addition to academic outcomes we also embrace vocational outcomes and strive to provide our pupils with the self-confidence to move to a position of independence and fulfilment.  Belle Vue has just been inspected by Ofsted under the new inspection framework and judged to be Outstanding in all areas with no recommendations for improvements.

We are seeking dedicated, nurturing and professional staff to support pupils with learning and to enhance wellbeing.  Progress & Engagement guides undertake a similar role to that of a Teaching Assistant.  You will be confident with working with a small group of  pupils at a time to deliver intervention sessions and will have experience of working with SEND pupils.

We offer a nurturing and supportive staff team with excellent CPD and progression opportunities.

Do you share our determination to improve the outcomes for pupils? Can you make a positive difference to the lives of our pupils? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Information about the school

Belle Vue School in Cranbrook is a smaller than average-sized special school which operate a nurture-based ethos and is registered to admit 60 pupils. The school serves pupils aged 11-19, who have a range of primary diagnosis including autism, social, emotional and mental health difficulties and cognition and learning difficulties. Our pupils are wonderfully individual, each one with strengths and areas for improvement. Our school is a calm, quiet and orderly setting where pupils can be supported to develop academically and emotionally.

Ofsted inspected the school in April 2022 and judged us to be Outstanding in all areas.

Our vision is that every child should go to an inspiring and life changing school, have the best teaching and benefit from all services working in partnership with each other to ensure their future life chances are improved.

At the core of our school is a drive to improve life chances of children. We will go above and beyond, set high expectations and improve outcomes by working together with others.
