Here at Higham Primary School we are seeking an outstanding individual who will work as part of our committed team. The successful candidate will work as our part-time SENDCO for 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) from Tuesday 3 January 2023 for the right candidate.

The role includes overseeing SEND support staff, managing behaviour across the school linked to SEN, completing SEND paperwork, managing HNF applications and renewals, working with PEO, meeting Kent and other SEN deadlines, attending LIFT and SEN forum meetings, liaising with specialist teams, meeting with parents, working closely with the Senior leadership team and the ASENCO.

The successful candidate will hold the National award for SEND co-ordination or demonstrate a willingness to undertake the National award within 3 years of appointment. The appointment is a permanent contract.
