A fantastic opportunity has arisen to make a real impact upon the learning and school experience of one of our  lovely young people. The young person is a delight to work with and you will enjoy your working experience.

This post is to provide 1:1 support to a child who is currently in our Year 3 class. Your role will require you to support the child's learning in all areas of the curriculum. Previous experience of working with children in a 1:1 fashion would be an advantage, especially in relation to cognition and learning; an ability to manipulate planning from the classteacher to make it age appropriate and a knowledge of early phonics would also be of benefit, but all required training will be provided.

The post may also require you to undertake other general teaching assistant duties within Key Stage Two, although our young person is working within the Key Stage One curriculum.

This temporary post is linked to a child and funding is reviewed annually.

The post is a 30 hour contract, working over five days a week, term time only.  The post commences ASAP.

At Lympne Primary we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and expect staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to satisfactory references and DBS clearance.
