Core Purpose and Scope

The holder of this post is expected to carry out the professional duties of Cluster HR Manager as described below, as circumstances may require and in accordance with the Trust’s policies under the direction of the Executive Principal of St Gregory’s Catholic School, Tunbridge Wells and St Simon Stock Catholic School, Maidstone. The post-holder is required to fully support the vision, ethos and policies of the Schools, Cluster and Trust.  The HR Hub is based in Maidstone; travel to Tunbridge Wells will be required to fulfil the duties of the post.

Information about the school

St Gregory’s is a mixed Catholic Secondary School, ages 11-18 with approximately 1370 students on roll. St Gregory’s is an Outstanding School (Ofsted 2013) which aims to provide a caring and supportive environment in which each individual can flourish.

We firmly believe that there is no ceiling on achievement and that in each student there is the potential to succeed. St Gregory’s is a place where young people are able to learn and enjoy school, developing their talents to the full. The school is in a rural setting on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells and within easy distance of a main line station. London and the South Coast are easily accessible.
