We are looking to appoint a dynamic and passionate Teaching Assistant with a track record of excellent work with children.   Experience in working within EYFS would be an advantage.

The position involves working in partnership with class teachers with an aim to achieve the best outcomes for our children, supporting individuals and groups of pupils. You need to understand how to motivate and encourage pupils to make progress and have the ability to differentiate and adapt learning programmes to suit varying needs.  

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) plus additional professional development or be suitably experienced and willing to undertake training as required.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work flexibly and be confident in providing equal opportunities for all pupils.

This is a fixed term contract for one year.

Hours of work: 32.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 3.30 pm during term time only.

The hours include lunchtime supervision for half an hour each day (allowing for a half hour lunch break).
