We have a full time vacancy for a teaching assistant in our popular and friendly school to support children with additional needs.  This position is  from Sept 2022 to Aug 2023 to cover a maternity absence.   You must have the skills needed to engage individuals and groups of children in effective learning; you should have an interest in developing children's social skills, showing sensitivity to their individual needs.  You should be a highly efficient, flexible and reliable person, able to forge positive relationships with children.  You will need to be energetic, supportive and a positive team player, with a sense of humour and excellent communication skills.  A willingness to support the Catholic ethos and to contribute to the wider life of the school is very important.  

Previous successful experience as a teaching assistant would be an advantage.   You must be willing to contribute to the continued improvement of St.Teresa's school.  In return, we offer a happy and highly supportive staff team and tailored professional development.  There will always be a cup of tea or words of support at hand.
