One-to-One Teaching Assistant - 28.5 hours per week (9am to 3.10pm). Term Time only - 39 weeks per year.

Vigo Village School seeks to employ a one-to-one teaching assistant from September 2022.  The successful candidate will support a child in Year R who has higher needs funding to meet his specific needs. This will be a fixed term contract which will end when the child leaves the school or when funding is withdrawn.  Relevant experience and qualifications would be an advantage, but are by no means essential - the successful candidate will also have the ability to promote the learning of all children and to form a strong working relationship with the class teacher and the child's parents.

Vigo Village School is a one form entry primary school of 160 children. It lies in a delightful rural position on the North Downs escarpment, easily reached from the M20 and the A2. The successful candidate will be welcomed both by our happy and well-behaved children and our supportive and friendly teaching and learning team.
