We are seeking to appoint a Forest School Leader who is a motivated and enthusiastic professional.  We would expect the suitable candidate to be able to provide weekly sessions for each of our year groups from Year R through to Year 6.  In addition to this, we would want the successful candidate to provide nurture/well-being sessions for smaller groups of children.

The successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable and hardworking. They will be able to demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and the passion to make a difference to the lives of the children at our school. In addition they will have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in leading Forest School.

We would encourage candidates to visit the school prior to application.

A formal 30 minute interview will take place with a panel comprising of members of the Leadership Team.  Candidates will also undertake a 20 minute Forest School activity with a group of children.

Bromstone is a Co-operative Foundation Primary School which believes strongly in the Co-operative ethos. As part of Thanet Endeavour Learning Trust we work in very close partnership with St Mildred’s Infant School with whom we are federated, and with Garlinge Primary School. We share our Executive Headteacher with Garlinge, St Mildred’s and Parkside Schools.

Bromstone has a well-developed creative curriculum, which provides our children with exciting opportunities for learning, both in the classroom and in the wider environment. We place high value on the Arts and outdoor learning; we have an established Forest School in our grounds.
