Palace Wood Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in our happy school. The successful candidate should have some prior experience of working 1:1 with children, supporting small group learning or working within a class assisting the teacher with whole class learning.

The successful candidate will:-

  • Be able to plan and prepare work independently to meet the needs of different groups of children.
  • Have a proven track record of supporting children to make good or better progress
  • Is able to support and motivate individual children or groups of pupils
  • Is able to participate in record keeping and assessment
  • Foster positive professional relationships with staff, outside agencies and parents
  • Training / experience of working within different Key Stages is essential
