Information about the school

Warden House Primary School became a Primary Academy in 2013 and has been judged by OFSTED as an outstanding school. We joined Veritas Multi Academy Trust in September 2015. The school has a deep heritage as a primary school offering the highest quality of education for children in Deal. As a Primary Academy, Warden House has a curriculum that targets excellence not just in English and mathematics but in all subjects. As part of Veritas Multi-Academy Trust, we work closely with our colleagues from our other Trust schools - Mundella Primary School in Folkestone and Pilgrims' Way Primary School in Canterbury.

Our inspiring school environment includes extensive grounds, dedicated music room, expansive library, breakfast and after-school club, on-site nursery, two football pitches, woodland area, environmental pond and a range of play equipment to keep our children active and engaged. Such resources enable our children to become confident and well-rounded individuals with a deep capacity for learning. Lessons are engaging and follow a rigorous curriculum with regular intervals of assessment to ensure our children are embedding their learning. As a result, our children make strong progress across the curriculum.

Our aim is to make learning irresistible; we want all children to develop a thirst for learning and push themselves to be the best that they can be.

Our values underpin all aspects of school life. Children are taught to be positive in their learning; to understand the importance of being good partners; to be independent in their learning and be determined when always striving for their best. Children are taught to be responsible members of the school community and then society and ultimately successful in their studies.
