West Hill Primary Academy are currently recruiting for a part time Kitchen Assistant to join our team, working 15 hours a week.

The hours are 11am-2pm, Monday to Friday.  Kent Range 3, £18,425 full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary £6,288 based on 15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be an essential member of our catering team, performing a variety of tasks in a busy kitchen environment, and contributing to the smooth running of an excellent food service.  You will need to be adaptable and flexible, and able to assist the Chef Manager with basic food preparation, serving pupils and staff, and of course washing up and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe. 

Experience of working in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential, and we welcome applicants seeking a better work life balance and greater flexibility.
