We are looking for a governor to Chair our local governing committee. Previous experience of chairing would be extremely beneficial but training and support will be available. 
 
We are looking for someone who:
  • Cares about improving children’s educational attainment;
  • Wants to contribute to the local community;
  • Wants to work as part of a team and can value the contribution made by different people;
  • Is willing to ask questions;
  • Has an open and enquiring mind;
  • Supports the vision, mission and values of the Trust, to add educational and social value.
Our governors are passionate about our Schools and ensure that every pupil is given the best education, opportunities and experiences possible. They hold the school to account for performance and development through meetings and visits. 
 
Our local governors carry the Trust's vision, values, policies and priorities forward. They represent the views of the school and stakeholders. They are advocates for pupils and parents and closely monitor progress of key groups.  

They meet four times a year, from 5-7pm on a Tuesday, agendas and reports are shared one week in advance of meetings. We offer all governors annual training and ongoing support and development.
