High Level Teaching Assistant

18 hours per week, term time

The SLT of this outstanding school require an experienced High Level Teaching Assistant, who is fully committed to providing high quality learning for our children to join our team.

The successful candidate will: 

  • Excellent in the classroom, with an outstanding ability to engage and enthuse children
  • Able to challenge, support and motivate all children to achieve high standards
  • Be prepared to work across all key stages, including EYFS
  • Able to work under pressure with good time management skills
  • Able to think creatively and adapt learning to motivate and meet needs
  • Have high expectations of pupils and themselves
  • A flexible, hardworking, patient and caring individual 
  • HLTA Qualified or equivalent is required, together with experience of working in KS2
  • Eager to take a full and active part in all aspects of our school community
  • Able to modify work/timetable to meet needs of pupils
  • Adaptable and flexible to changing scenarios

Tasks will include:

  • Whole class teaching - to cover teachers and to support teaching and learning across the school
  • Carry out interventions to support teaching and learning
  • To liaise with class teachers and leaders to provide support for pupils
