Teaching Assistant/SEN Support Assistant

Having successfully appointed for the previously advertised Teaching Assistant/SEN Support Assistant role, Orchards Academy is looking to further expand the SEN team and are looking to appoint a passionate individual to take up the position of Teaching Assistant/SEN Support Assistant.

As one of the 50 schools nationally to be granted a rebuild in summer 2021 we are looking to expand our successful team now in readiness for an increase in our school roll.

Whilst the successful candidate will be required to work across the whole ability range at KS3 and KS4 initially supporting SEN students where required, we will also be keen to support your development by offering bespoke training to support your area of interest or expertise. The importance of life experience is essential for this role.

Salary: Kent Range 3 (£19,293 FTE). Pro rata salary for Term time only role approx. £13,514.00pa. 

Hours: 8.40am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday, term time only plus inset days (30 hours per week) 

Start Date: September 2022
