We are looking for a Pastoral Support Officer to work 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 16.30, with half an hour lunch break). Principal duties will be to engage with parents/carers and families to support early intervention and guidance and to increase engagement with the school in order to improve learning outcomes for pupils. There will also be a requirement to provide support for pupils with social, emotional and mental health. Knowledge of and experience with Early Help and Attendance Services would be an advantage but not essential.

Information about the school

Woodlands Primary School was formed in September 2016 following the amalgamation of Woodlands Infant and Woodlands Junior Schools. We are a successful and happy school in North Tonbridge. Currently we have 640 pupils on roll organised into three classes per year group across three buildings: Saplings (EYFS), Acorn (KS1) and Oak (KS2). An excellent local reputation for both the Infant and Junior schools has been built up over many years. Our enthusiastic and dedicated staff work strongly together to provide exciting learning experiences for the children both inside and outside the classroom.
