Temple Hill Primary Academy is looking to recruit an office apprentice to join their staff on a fixed term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship.

The hours are 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday.  You will be paid £4.81 per hour which equates to £9,280 full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary £8,017 based on 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year plus 5 days.

In this role, you will be expected to assist as a member of the administrative team in providing efficient, comprehensive administrative support to the school. To act as point of contact for all school enquiries either by telephone, email or face to face and to maintain the smooth and efficient running of the reception area.  You will also be expected to work collaboratively with all staff and parents in order to support pupil well being.  You will also be expected to liaise, with tact and diplomacy with school staff and others outside the school, particularly parents, professional agencies and the local community.

Temple Hill Primary Academy has nearly 900 pupils from Nursery to Year 6 with a Specialist Resource Provision for children with Speech & Language needs (SLCN). We also offer a short-term Nurture placement for children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.  31% of children have special needs and 40% of children receive Pupil Premium funding, we pride ourselves on the high quality provision we offer to all children especially those in vulnerable groups.

From a Good Ofsted in June 2019, we are now striving to achieve Outstanding. We have a dedicated supportive work force and every single staff member is valued at our school. We offer opportunities for growth within school and the wider Trust.
