We are urgently seeking a part time kitchen assistant

20 hours per week, 10:00 to 14:00 Monday to Friday (Term time only + 1 week)

This position is temporary as it is covering a long term absence and will be paid at KR3.

 

Shears Green Junior School is looking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant with a proven track record, in a busy kitchen to support the school Cook and kitchen team, in providing nutritious meals from our innovative menu to our 480 pupils.

Our kitchen is maintained to an exceptionally high standard of efficiency and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy kitchen, hold relevant food qualifications (Level 2 Food and Hygiene) and demonstrate high levels of organisation and teamwork needed to deliver the task in hand.  The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues, midday supervisors and pupils effectively.
