Do you have a passion for teaching English? We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic English teacher for September 2022 to teach within KS3/4. Our successful candidate will be joining a lively, enthusiastic and supportive team. The English department is an outstanding feature of the school with excellent facilities and resources. Pupils are keen to learn and make good progress up to and including GCSE.

This role would suit a primary teacher with a specialism in phonics who is looking for a new challenge.

The post holder will need to demonstrate strong skills in the teaching of literacy. We would also consider appointing a primary practitioner who has the relevant literacy skills and empathy for senior aged pupils. The post holder will be creative and flexible with strong communication skills and emotional resilience.

Salary Range: MPS / UPS plus SENA depending on experience.
