About the role: We are looking to appoint a Data Manager to join and support our team at Snowfields Academy, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing reports using a wide range of data sources  to inform the Leadership Team in all aspects of school day as well as managing and maintaining up to date information on the academy databases. The Data Manager will provide appropriate technical support to staff in using the software and interpreting information. 

Some of the main responsibilities include;

  • To be the Local Data Officer for the academy, carrying out software requests 
  • To manage the academy’s Management Information System
  • To complete all statutory data returns, which will  include the School Census
  • To ensure that relevant data is transferred to the academy’s Management Information System as required
  • Analyse student data, distribute colour bands and collect pupil progress reports for the SLT via Pupil Asset
  • To develop and produce general reports, including data analysis as requested by the Academy Leadership Team
  • To troubleshoot data and issues relating to the Management Information System, escalating any unresolvable issues to IT Services or Bromcom
  • To take part, as appropriate, in the academy’s professional development programme
  • To engage actively in the Performance Management Review process​​​​​​​

Please note that the successful candidate will be responsible for the Bearsted and Cranbrook campuses with travel expenses reimbursed. 

This is a permanent opportunity offering an actual salary ranging from £19,689-£21,600 per annum, commensurate with experience and based on 37 hours per week, Term Time + 3 weeks of inset. Please be aware that interviews may be conducted on a rolling basis.
