After School Club Supervisor

Are you up for a challenge? We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic applicant to join our team at Morehall Primary to take a leading role in our well-established and popular after school club. We need a candidate who is dedicated, enthusiastic, patient and caring, to help our children enjoy, learn and achieve success.

The successful applicant will:

  • Ideally have experience of working with children of primary school age
  • Be a confident communicator, able to build positive and supportive relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Ideally have experience in planning, organising and delivering a high quality, safe, inclusive and creative experience
  • Be able to support the delivery of high quality extra-curricular activities
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • hold a valid first aid and safeguarding children qualification or is prepared to attend these courses prior to starting work.

The role will include:

  • Shared responsibility for the care and supervision of children in the club.
  • Working as part of a small team, and to demonstrate a welcoming and understanding approach to parents and carers.
  • Providing a wide range of stimulating activities ensuring that procedures relating to health and safety are followed.
  • Taking day to day responsibility for the club.
  • Taking the lead in planning, resourcing and supervising weekly activities.

The role will involve working 15:00 – 18:15 Monday to Friday, term time only
