Following an extensive building project, Fortis Trust is looking to expand their provision at the Bradfields Academy site. As a specialist academy the expansion will see an increase in student numbers across all areas of the academy catering for students with learning needs, autism and communication difficulties.

The academy seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, qualified teacher of PSHCE to join an innovative forward-thinking department. The department currently offers qualifications ranging from Entry Levels, BTEC Level 1 and Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications to appropriate groups. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to teach at all levels.

In the sixth form students can improve their grade and level of qualifications. The department and the academy are continually researching opportunities for students and welcome suggestions and the ability to offer differing qualifications. The academy has recently started to offer A-Levels in a variety of subjects.

Applicants should have a clear understanding of effective teaching, raising and sustaining achievement, and the care and support of complex individuals. They should have a vision and a drive to deliver meaningful and personalised curricula. Both experienced teachers and those just setting out in their careers would be considered.
