We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed HLTA to job share in September 2022.

The successful candidate needs to be flexible to work alongside the current HLTA and under the guidance of the class teachers and the SENCO but will need to use their own initiative, drawing on their experience to adapt in the moment and meet the needs of the pupils they are supporting.  On occasions the TA will be required take charge of the class or groups of children.

Teaching Assistants also care for the children over break times, so being able to lead play as well as keep children safe is another aspect to this role.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, engages with children and staff in policy and practice developments, and proactively encourages feedback. The successful candidate will require a Criminal Records disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), including checks against the barred list.
