Cornwallis Academy has produced outstanding results in recent years, and has well established PE courses at GCSE, BTEC and A-Level. An enthusiastic and innovative teacher is required from September 2022 to join our already established team on a full-time, permanent basis in this well-resourced and successful department to teach Male PE.

The candidate should demonstrate good organisational and ICT skills as well as excellent teaching strategies and good knowledge of the National Curriculum. NQT’s are encouraged to apply.

There is also an opportunity for the right candidate to work with our partner Maidstone United in delivering a Level 3 BTEC qualification to the Academy players, as well as the potential to teach Physical Education in one of our partner primary schools.

As well as our state-of-the-art facilities, we have an exciting programme of trips, visits and extra-curricular activities.  Cornwallis Academy values positive and professional working relationships and seeks individuals who will support this ethos.

The successful candidate will be a creative and inspiring teacher who will have:

  • The ability to teach PE throughout all key stages
