We are looking for an efficient and highly effective Office Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant should be experienced, enthusiastic and hardworking.

They will be the first point of contact for our parents and visitors so we therefore expect the successful candidate to:-

  • Have the ability to make our pupils feel valued and safe
  • Maintain a welcoming environment for parent, pupils and visitors
  • Have high standards of communication (written, face to face, telephone)
  • Be passionate about supporting our children and the community
  • Be able to organise, multi-task and prioritise your workload
  • Have knowledge of SIMS and/or Google Suite- although training will be provided.
  • Enjoy working as a team
  • Have a positive approach to working with children and a commitment to our safeguarding procedures. 
  • Offer enthusiasm and energy to the role

This is a varied role which involves receptionist duties alongside other administrative tasks, as well as supporting in other areas around the school. No two days are the same! 

Due to the scope of the role, the ability to prioritise and remain flexible whilst maintaining excellent service standards is absolutely essential.

Hours: 8:15am-3:30pm

5 days a week (term time only). 

As this role is term time only, the pay is based on the full-time equivalent of KR3, which is pro-rata to £14,202.21

Experience of Office administration or working in a school would be advantageous. Previous applicants need not apply.

Woodchurch Church of England Primary School has 165 children on roll and is situated in the heart of the Kent countryside in the village of Woodchurch, 6 miles from Ashford and 4 miles from Tenterden.
