Wonderful Teaching Assistants Required 

We are looking for fantastic Teaching Assistants to work within the classroom and with individual children to help them reach their full potential in all areas of school life. You will need to have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour as well as believing that every child has their own interests and talents.

The position will include general classroom assistance in Key Stage 1/2 as well as possibly working with children on a 1:1 basis. Previous experience of working with children in classrooms is essential and experience of working with children with SEND is desirable for this post. Leigh Primary School is looking to increase support from Learning Assistants across the school and therefore there is more than 1 position available. The positions are full time as well as mornings only. Initially the contract will be on a temporary basis until July 2023 with the potential to be extended. Leigh Primary school is committed to providing continued professional development and actively encouragevisits to t he school before application.
