As a Lecturer of Electrical in our Dover College you will teach, train, and assess students in a variety of environments, ensuring the best learning experience. Your role will also include providing support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential and to lead on designated study programmes, with a key responsibility for ensuring the design, delivery, and evaluation of your course.

We pride ourselves in the support we can give those who are new to teaching, with ongoing training and coaching through our Teacher Academy. About You

  • Highly organised and efficient.
  • Someone who has a positive and empathetic view towards learners.
  • Someone with excellent communication skills and class management.
  • Industry experience in a relevant area.
  • Education or training experience – ability to be able to plan and teach engaging and creative lessons.
  • Ability to work with young people to achieve their full potential.
  • Ability to uphold strong health and safety standards.
  • Have a teaching qualification or willingness to work towards this.
