| £25,238 - £30,220 pro rata (salary dependant on experience and qualifications) | Permanent Term Time, 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year |

The Education People is owned by Kent County Council and is a one-stop shop for education services, to help you improve learning, wellbeing and children’s development. We support the full age range from early years to young adults, with over 800 products and services available specific to education needs always. Due to recent promotions and team changes, an exciting opportunity has become available to join the Schools Financial Services Team.

In this role you will be supporting schools in the delivery of a range of flexible traded finance support services for schools and academies.

You will ensure robust financial planning, financial integrity and budgetary controls in line with the LA statutory requirements to ensure schools are financially well managed.

Knowledge and experience of how schools operate is essential.

You will have experience of working within a finance environment, good written and verbal communications skills, IT skills, analytical and interpretive skills with the ability to work as part of a team.

The ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential.
