Job Description

EIS is a business unit within KCC providing IT support services and products to schools in Kent and neighbouring boroughs.

The EIS Service Desk has a vacancy for a competent, honest, professional and flexible IT analyst to join a busy 1st line support team. The post is for 37 hours per week, covering the hours of 8:00am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday on a rota basis.

You will be the first point of contact for all incoming IT Customer Services queries. You will log support calls in the Service Desk system and attempt to resolve the issue, passing those calls which cannot be resolved to specialist teams.

You will be keen to learn in a team environment and have a logical approach to troubleshooting IT issues. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You must be competent in the use of standard Microsoft applications and have experience of working within a customer facing IT environment. You must be willing to learn new IT systems and be able to take in information quickly.

Above all the desire to consistently provide a high quality service with a positive attitude is essential.
