Purpose of the Job:

 

To provide general administrative support to the Specialist Teaching and Learning Service and Outreach Team.

 

Key duties and responsibilities:

 

  1. Prepare, attend and minute the termly LIFT Executive meetings attended by Head Teachers and Multi-Agency staff.
  2. Collating of all documentation in preparation for the Local Inclusion Forum Team meetings e.g. producing agendas, distributing meeting documentation, finalising and distributing meeting outcomes.
  3. Update manual and computerised records / management information systems. Training will be provided on the Synergy Children’s Education Database System.
  4. Act as first point of contact for all general enquiries for the STLS team, fielding incoming calls and queries to the STLS team.
  5. Provide administrative support e.g. filing and creating of files (soon to be maintained electronically – training will be provided), emailing, completion of routine forms.
  6. Ordering resources and office supplies for the STLS team.
  7. Undertake photocopying and shredding as required, reporting faulty machinery and equipment as necessary.

Managing the post:  open, sort and distribute incoming mail and post outgoing mail.
