Due to the retirement of our Site Manager, an exciting vacancy has arisen at Riverhead Infants’ School for a suitably skilled, reliable and self-motivated person to join our friendly and dedicated team.

Duties will include managing all health and safety aspects for the site, general maintenance of the building and grounds, project management of specific work involving liaising with contractors, general security and some cleaning. There may be some unsocial hours due to you being the primary key holder for the site.

The applicant is likely to have had previous experience of premises and general maintenance, should be physically fit, enjoy working as part of a team in a school setting and be a confident communicator. There will be a need for good time management, to prioritise duties and work on their own initiative.  The successful candidate will ensure our school site is maintained to the highest standard that will offer all our children the best learning environment both indoors and out.

This is an all year round full-time post, 37 hours per week, 25 days holiday. Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm.

There may be the possibility to split the role into two part-time roles if there are suitable candidates who would prefer this option.
