The Governing Board is seeking to appoint a talented and inspiring Headteacher with a proven track record of leadership and drive. The successful candidate will work in partnership with a motivated, dedicated and talented staff and a proactive and supportive governing body.

The role is suited to someone looking to advance their career at a successful and established school. A leader who will sustain its child-centred direction and continue to build upon the strong existing relationships with all stakeholders.

Information about the school

Sandling is a popular, high achieving, 2 form entry primary school in the north of Maidstone.

The school is well resourced with many facilities including: a library, computing suite and extensive grounds with a wildlife area. We offer a wide variety of clubs for children to enrich their learning.

We have designed a creative curriculum, which is regularly refreshed to reflect current topics and interests of the children.

We had a one day OFSTED inspection in Feb 2020 with a good outcome which confirmed our high expectations and standards.

With easy access from the M20, and being situated less than 3 miles from Maidstone centre, the school is easily accessible by road.
