Are you a committed and creative teacher who uses their skills and knowledge to inspire and make children’s learning relevant and fun? Then we need you!

We are looking for an excellent teacher to cover maternity leave in our delightful Y1 class, Seahorses.

The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, be enthusiastic and enjoy the surprises that teaching brings! In return we can offer a great school, fabulous children and a staff team that are a lot of fun!

For many of our pupils English is their second or third language so an understanding of language development for EAL pupils and cultural diversity would be of benefit, but in no way essential.

The post is for a fixed term, initially until 31st May 2020, with the possibility of it extending.

We encourage you to visit the school before you apply so you can get a feel of our very special ethos and meet us all.

If this sounds like a job you would enjoy, we look forward to seeing you soon.

Information about the school

We are a semi-rural school, set in very attractive surroundings. The school is housed in modern buildings, and is very well resourced throughout. Christian values, a caring ethos and having high self-esteem and expectations are important to us. Our children are enthusiastic, positive learners, and are a joy to teach. For many of them English is an additional language. All the staff enjoy working as a close team, being completely committed to the progress and well-being of our learners, but also having lots of fun.
