We are seeking an inspirational, outward looking Headteacher who has the drive and enthusiasm to take up this exciting opportunity to lead our happy, ambitious and popular school.

St. Matthew’s Church of England Primary serves the High Brooms and Southborough areas of Tunbridge Wells. Rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted (July 2014) and judged as ‘Outstanding’ in the SIAMs inspection (January 2016) the school continues to build on these successes.

St Matthew’s believes every child can be successful, and so we are now looking for a highly motivated and experienced Headteacher, who will lead our vision and build upon our innovative and wide curriculum and take us to outstanding: you should want to face the exciting challenge of increasing our parental involvement and giving all our wonderful children the greatest possible start in life.

The new Headteacher will have the opportunity to work in partnership with a motivated, dedicated and talented staff and a proactive and supportive Governing Body.

We expect the school to continue to develop its good links with the local church and to remain an active member of the Tunbridge Wells Local Collaborative Trust, where best practice and expertise is shared.

To experience all that St Matthew’s has to offer, please come and visit us. To arrange a visit please call the school office on 01892 528098.
