Bromstone Primary has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our staff team. 

You should be willing to use your skills and talents to help foster a love of learning, independence and strong self-belief in all of our children. In exchange we can offer you a school full of happy, enthusiastic and well-behaved children, and a supportive staff team who are passionate about Bromstone and its ethos; Dream, Believe, Achieve.

The successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable and hardworking. They will be able to demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and the passion to make a difference to the lives of the children at our school. 

The post will be for 30 hours per week, 8:40am – 3:10pm (Monday-Friday), term-time only.

Information about the school

Bromstone is a Co-operative Foundation Primary School which believes strongly in the Co-operative ethos. As part of Thanet Endeavour Learning Trust we work in very close partnership with St Mildred’s Infant School with whom we are federated, and with Garlinge and Parkside Primary Schools. We share our Executive Headteacher with Garlinge, St Mildred’s and Parkside Schools.

Bromstone has a well-developed creative curriculum, which provides our children with exciting opportunities for learning, both in the classroom and in the wider environment. We place high value on the Arts and outdoor learning; we have an established Forest School in our grounds. Our staff are friendly, enthusiastic and very committed to providing the best education we can for our pupils. We are passionate about Bromstone and its ethos; Dream, Believe, Achieve.
