Hunton CEP is a rural village school just outside Maidstone. We are a driven, ambitious and caring community of pupils, staff and governors; who share a common goal of providing all pupils with excellent learning opportunities and experiences.

Our purpose is to provide our pupils with an engaging, empowering and inclusive curriculum that prepares them for a modern British society beyond primary school.

As a church school we place a strong emphasis on our distinctively Christian vision and curriculum which is underpinned by our four associated Christian values of compassion, hope, reverence, and wisdom; ensuring all pupils are equipped to ‘live life in all its fullness.’ (John 10:10)

An extract from our latest Ofsted report of July 2016: “The school’s Christian ethos and core values ….. are evident in the positive relationships between pupils and staff. Pupils feel well cared for and supported by staff. Pupils are proud of their school and their work. They enjoy coming to school and are keen to learn.”

We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School. The school currently has 94 pupils taught in year groups R; 1 and 2; 3 and 4; 5 and 6. The PAN is currently 15.

Applications to the school come from a wider area due to the low population of Hunton itself, and the strong Christian ethos and values of the school which create an unrivaled environment for learning.
