The governors, staff and children of Priory Infant School wish to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and caring headteacher with excellent leadership skills who will be able to  take us forward in ensuring that all children make strong progress, knowing that they are valued individuals who are challenged and supported to attain highly, so reaching their full potential. 

You may currently be an outstanding teacher with SLT experience who is looking for your first Headship.

The successful applicant will need to possess the following qualities; 

  • Be a natural an inspirational leader with a clear vision and a strong commitment to build upon our existing strengths  
  • Able to create an environment where there are opportunities for all children and where they can feel safe and happy to learn
  • Have genuine empathy with the children 
  • Can challenge our children to explore and discover, so that they develop a love of learning that will stay with them as they succeed and grow
  • Think strategically and thrive on responsibility
  • Be passionate and hardworking to give our children the best possible start to their educational journey.
