Located on the outskirts of the seaside town of Deal, Hornbeam Primary School is seeking a Headteacher to lead the school to future success. 

Our ‘Good’, one-form entry school is very well resourced with impressive facilities; it has a swimming pool, two halls, two playgrounds and a privately run nursery on site. Hornbeam Primary also has its own ‘forest school’, offering regular opportunities for the children to achieve and develop through a hands-on approach. 

You will be well supported throughout this role. 

In April 2019 Hornbeam became a founding Academy member of the Deal Education Alliance for Learning Trust (DEALT) which is a recently formed MAT of seven local primary schools within Deal and the surrounding villages. 

On top of DEALT the 7 schools are also part of an acclaimed effective collaboration, the ‘Deal Learning Alliance’ with other local Primary schools, where we work efficiently together and strive for excellence.

We have good teachers and a strong senior leadership team and Governors who will work collaboratively with the new Headteacher to achieve the very best outcomes for the children.
