Adisham village is located close by to the cathedral city of Canterbury. Canterbury is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it boasts ancient ruins and the oldest cathedral in England which dominates the city’s skyline. Canterbury is a harmonious marriage of the old and new with its charming medieval winding streets and buildings, to fantastic high street shopping, nightclubs, and range of international restaurants. 

Canterbury has excellent transport links with London and the rest of Kent. Canterbury East and West train stations are both on lines to London stations. Ashford International station is only 16 miles from the city or a 21-minute train ride to access the Eurostar and the rest of Europe. Adisham village has its own train station and is on a direct line to Canterbury East station, so commuters have an easy journey into the city. The A2 is within proximity of Canterbury and both villages, providing easy access to the M2 motorway and the rest of Kent.  

Nearby are the popular seaside towns of Whitstable, with its famous annual oyster festival, and Herne Bay which has great activities and seafood restaurants. If you are interested in venturing further afield, you can discover the beautiful sandy beaches in nearby Broadstairs.

Blean Woods Nature Reserve is a 20-minute drive from Adisham village and is the perfect place for a peaceful walk. There are 5 walking trails to explore where you can discover an array of wildlife including woodpeckers, dormice, and butterflies.
